This Privacy Policy explains how Archuleta Entertainment LLC ("Hot Boards," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Hot Boards at hotboards.tv (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign up.
• Profile information — your network or outlet, your role or position, and the teams you cover (or that you call a different game each week), provided when you first sign in and whenever you change your teams.
• Your content — the boards, notes, and other materials you create in the Service.
• Technical information — basic log and device data (such as IP address and browser type) and cookies or similar technologies used to keep you signed in and operate the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure;
• To save and sync your boards and notes across your devices;
• To communicate with you about support, important updates, and — where permitted — news about Hot Boards;
• To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party providers to run the Service. They process your information only as needed to provide their services to us:

• Clerk — account creation, authentication, and profile data.
• Supabase — secure storage of your boards and account data.
• Kit (ConvertKit) — email communications and list management.
• Stripe — payment processing for game purchases and subscriptions. We do not store your card details.
• Vercel and Railway — application hosting and delivery.
• Google Workspace — our email and correspondence.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above to operate the Service, when required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, our users, or the Service.

5. Email Communications

We may send you service-related messages (such as sign-in codes and account notices) and, where permitted, product updates. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails; service-related messages are necessary to use the Service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us, after which we will delete or anonymize it except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@hotboards.tv. You can also view and update much of your profile information directly in the Service.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and authenticated access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
